St. Francis of Assisi is the PATRON SAINT OF ANIMALS AND THE ENVIRONMENT. His famous “Canticle of the Creatures,†written between 1225 and 1226, is considered the first poem in the Italian language. It is recognized as "the most beautiful piece of religious poetry after the Gospels" and "the most complete and lyrical expression of the soul and spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi."

This rosary bracelet contains a variety of semi-precious stones such as faceted crystals, druzy, hematite, jaspers, glass, dyed howlites, mother of pearl and agates. Enameled metals and an original Italian St. Francis of Assisi medal. Each element of this bracelet is dedicated to each of the parts of the Canticle of the Creatures of St. Francis of Assisi, culminating in a brown agate in honor of the Saint and all the Franciscan brothers .
